About Me and Accentuate Salon
Hello! I’m Kim, the proud founder of Accentuate Salon. I’ve been in the beauty industry since 1998 at 18 years old I worked for Shiseido as a makeup artist and skincare consultant. I started eyebrow waxing in 2000 when I was 20 years old at Paul Brown Salon and Day Spa in Ward Center. After seven enriching years there, I launched my independent venture, Accentuate Salon, in 2008, specializing in eyebrow waxing and makeup.
At Accentuate Salon, we believe in highlighting your natural beauty through expertly sculpted eyebrows and personalized skin care. Our salon is a bright, fun, and friendly space where each client is treated to an experience tailored to their unique needs. I love what I do because it allows me to connect with amazing people every day—helping them look and feel their best is truly rewarding.
After two decades in the industry, I also found myself inspired to solve a common challenge for my clients: finding the perfect tool for eyebrow care. This led to the creation of the KBrow brush, designed to make eyebrow maintenance easy for everyone, regardless of their brow type. Like my services, this brush is a testament to my commitment to excellence and my desire to provide the best for my clients.

“I’ve been coming to Kim since 2006! I first met her at Paul Brown because I really needed to get my brows done. So I figured you get what you pay for right?! I told the receptionist to pair me up with someone that is highly recommended. When I moved back home, I of course lost touch with her, and when I moved back, I needed to link up with her again, and I had the hardest time locating her because she had gone on her own. BUT thank goodness for FB I found her. Kim is amazing and super sweet, she interacts with her clients and gets to know them. Her new location is located off of King St. in the building right next to Panda Express. Parking is available, but sometimes it might be full. So you might have to park on the street (if available) but for the most part you are able to park there. She is in the same building as Yakiniku Seoul, Suite 303. Her studio is cute & cozy, and not over the top fancy. She also has a brow punch card, after every 10 you get $10 off your next brow waxing. She does also offer other waxing services at a very reasonable price.”

Eyebrow Duo Double Dipper
The KBrow brush is designed to suit any brow type. It is double-sided, with one side a thin, but not too thin, angled brush, and the other side a soft blending brush. Each side creates a different look. The angled side for detail. And the soft side for shading. The angled side can be used on thinner brows, or as the detailer for the outline of any brow. The soft side can be used alone for a soft natural look or used together with the angled side for shading after outlining. The brush is short in length for easy use and storage.
